The first public survey for gathering citizen input on land use decision-making went live in February! The survey itself was a collaborative effort by Yavapai County Development Services staff, Keep Sedona Beautiful, and community plan groups from various communities - including yours!
This survey covers high level topics that counties are required to address in the state-mandated Comprehensive Plan .
You’ll find a link to the survey below. It’s a quick 7-10 minutes start to finish, and you can respond to all the questions or just those of importance to you. All adult members of your household may submit a survey.
This survey is designed to provide input to Yavapai County in their data compilation for the 2022 Comprehensive Plan 10-Year Update (in effect 2022-2032). While there are no guarantees that any of the recommendations from this survey will be adopted, given that Village of Oak Creek/Big Park is unincorporated, the Comprehensive Plan guides decisions made in our area. This is the means by which we can participate. Use your voice!
